The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation rapidly organised the despatch of aid material to the hurricane Maria disaster region. In addition to 100 tarpaulins, 100 first aid kits and 100 water canisters, the foundation also sent 200 sleeping bags, 200 fleece blankets, 200 solar lamps, 200 torches as well as 200 aluminium insulating mats.

In light of the suffering of the people in Eastern Africa, In light of the suffering of the people in Eastern Africa, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation 'Drying Little Tears' together with Sixt employees sent a shipment of emergency food and medicine to the drought region in northern Tanzania. 600 kg of emergency food were shipped from the medeor warehouse in Tönisvorst to Tanzania. Sleeping bags for earthquake victims in Turkey
Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation and Turkish Airlines helped earthquake victims in Turkey. 1,700 sleeping bags for children in need were purchased through successful appeals for donations from SIXT employees in Germany and Turkey. Once again, the foundation 'Drying Little Tears' has provided quick and unbureaucratic help.
Support of students in the earthquake zone
Mobiles Schlafen. Das Erdbeben im März 2011 war ein großes Seebeben in der japanischen Region Tõhoku. Mit TRÄNCHEN TROCKNEN unterstützt die Regine Sixt Kinderhilfe Stiftung zusammen mit dem internationalen Logistikunternehmen Nippon Express Deutschland zahlreiche vom Erdbeben betroffene Schulkinder. So wurden mehrere hundert Schlafsäcke für die Notunterkünfte der Schüler der Shishiori Grundschule in die Stadt Kesennuma geschickt.
