Balkan Aid for the recent flood victims

Due to flooding as a result of heavy torrential rains in the Balkans 2014 many families lost their homes. Especially children suffered as they had to endure long weeks in shelters with only makeshift supply. With the first incoming news of the flood the Regine Sixt Children's Aid acted quickly and efficiently. About ten SIXT transporters filled with baby food, children's clothing, baby equipment, diapers, canned food and other supplies were sent to Doboj (Bosnia-Herzegovina), to Gunja (Croatia) and to the collecting stations of the Red Cross in Bijeljina (Bosnia-Herzegovina) and Novi Sad (Serbia). Moreover, volunteers of the Foundation worked on site to distribute the goods directly and to rebuild a day care center.
