Little paradise. A few years ago, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation TRÄNCHEN DRÄNCHEN supported a "Ein Herz für Kinder" in the renovation of the playground of the "Little Lambs" kindergarten south of Cape Town. The kindergarten is a small paradise where the children not only get enough food, but are also lovingly cared for by helpers. The Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS financially supported a refurbishment of the premises and the renovation of the outdoor facilities. The roof was repaired, the cracks in the walls repaired and then repainted. After that, the classroom presented a bright and friendly sight. Sanitary facilities were also renewed. A roof was built over the forecourt of another classroom. Thanks to the erection of new sun roofs for the sandboxes, numerous children can play carefree and protected. In the summer, the wider canopy erected is a boon for both children and teachers when they can hold classes and meals outdoors as the classroom gets stiflingly hot. With a canopy, this space can be optimally used for various purposes and at the same time offers protection from the rain.
