New sports field brings movement into the therapy of young patients in Paris

The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS has supported the renovation of a sports field for children and adolescents in the psychiatry department at the Hôpital Universitaire Robert-Debré in Paris. The heavily outdated and unsafe sports field has been completely modernized and now provides young patients with a safe space for movement and therapeutic activities.

The Hôpital Universitaire Robert-Debré is a leading reference center for perinatal medicine and treats children with acute and chronic illnesses as well as medical and surgical conditions. As part of the renovation, the old surface was replaced with a modern coating and equipped with sports and recreational equipment such as goals, basketball hoops, and seating areas.

The new sports field supports the treatment of young patients by enabling movement therapy and recreational activities that significantly contribute to their wellbeing and healing process.
