Regine Sixt once again gave needy children from Munich and the surrounding area a carefree day full of fun at the Munich Oktoberfest. Actively supported by the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS it was already the 21st edition of the so-called Children's Wiesn.
A total of 125 young guests from various institutions experienced a varied program at the world's largest folk festival. Among the participants were numerous Ukrainian refugee children, for whom the Bavarian cultural experience was a very special one. The children's Oktoberfest started in the morning in the specially rented café tent Theres, with clowns, balloon modelers and music. Of course, a strengthening in the form of selected Wiesn delicacies should not be missing at lunchtime. In the afternoon we continued with a stroll through the folk festival to visit the fairground rides - and of course to snack on sweets. All children also received small gifts so that the day will be remembered for a long time.
