Equipping the maternity ward of the Malteser International Hospital Umuzike
Professional care. With the joint support of the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation and Malteser Hilfsdienst e.V., the maternity ward and the children's department at Malteser International Hospital Umuzike have been refurbished. In addition to various purchases such as cribs, new floor coverings and missing doors were purchased, leaking windows were replaced and additional lighting was installed.
The new performance space in the Alder Hey Children's Hospital
Hospital stays are strenuous and exhausting. Children in particular are worried and scared when they have to wait for their treatment in a sterile hospital atmosphere. The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation supported the construction of a performance space at the entrance hall of the Children's Hospital Alder Hey in Liverpool, UK. This way, children can bridge waiting times together in a pleasant atmosphere.
Establishment of a Stroke Center (CTB) at the Hauner Children's Clinic

Eliya Project: Support for a childcare centre
Gaining self-confidince in a playful way. The ELIYA organization has more than 30 years' experience and runs three local groups providing intensive support for children in Israel. One of these is in Jerusalem, which recently had its lease terminated and was forced to move. As part of the move, the care center is to be enlarged and specialized. The new ELIYA location in Jerusalem has been renovated and the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation also helped, together with the Jerusalem Foundation, with equipping the new wing for blind children. The wing includes a specially furnished classroom, a controlled multi-sensory environment, a bathroom area and a storeroom.
