Construction of a relaxation room

The social-therapeutic day care facility in Leezen, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, supports children of primary school age from socially disadvantaged families. With a new relaxation room, the facility wants to create the possibility to help the children to balance stimulus overload and severe stress. The room is especially important for children with psychosocial and psycho-physical impairments. The new relaxation room was made possible by the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation. The design of the room as well as special relaxation and perception exercises ensure that the children calm down and perceive others more relaxed.
