The parent-child house of the Association for the Promotion of Children with Cancer Rostock e.V. can look forward to a new water playground. The water playground is a place of joy, play and relaxation for children with cancer, their siblings and their families.
The TÜV-approved water playground covers an area of 35m² and was constructed from high-quality natural building materials. Water cascades guide the water in playful directions while the children explore the physical principles and let their imagination run wild. The mud area allows the little adventurers to experiment with soil and water and discover their senses.
The water play garden not only offers the children with cancer a distraction from their challenges, but also has therapeutic effects. It playfully promotes their motor skills and opens up a space for them to express their emotions.
Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS wishes all families enjoyable moments at the water playground and hopes that by building the water playground we can help to make the difficult times a little easier to cope with.
