Thanks to generous funding from LEONHARD WEISS GmbH & Co. KG and the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation, a large mud pit was installed in the garden of the Johanniter children's home “Rasselbande,” among other things. This provides a variety of incentives for free play in nature and promotes skills such as fine motor skills and social interaction. In addition, other play equipment such as toy vehicles and soccer goals, as well as interior furnishings such as cupboards and sunshades, were purchased.
The Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. Regionalverband Bayerisch Schwaben is active in the region in areas such as child and youth work and grief counseling for children. The Johanniter-Kinderhaus “Rasselbande” opened in 2020 and offers 75 places in the kindergarten and 28 in the nursery.
