Thanks to the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation, the Malteser Care crisis group's new, barrier-free premises have been fully equipped with new furniture, household appliances and educational play materials in a child-friendly way. In addition, the terrace was leveled and equipped with child-friendly fall protection mats and safe, weatherproof shading so that the outdoor area can also be used in strong sunlight or rain.
The non-profit and charitable Malteser Care GmbH mainly supports families whose children are affected by severe disabilities or chronic illnesses. If a family is thrown off course and their baby or toddler needs loving care at short notice, the specialized crisis group steps in.
