The current corona crisis is a major change and challenge for many of us. It often requires improvisation and uncomplicated solutions. It is therefore a great pleasure to see that SIXT employees, on behalf of the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation, are now deciding to tackle and help where it is needed the most.
In the past weeks, the two SIXT employees Hector Romano Medina and Raphael Saupp have lent a hand to the Munich orphanage by doing the grocery shopping for the institution twice a week.
Olaf Schwarze, Head of the Department of the City of Munich - Munich Orphanage, expresses his thanks on behalf of the institution:
"Due to the closure of the schools, our employees are primarily concerned with organising a good day structure for the children and young people, especially in the area of home schooling. However, in a household with 9 children and 2 adults there is a huge need for food, which has to be bought. So that our employees could concentrate on caring for the children, we gladly accepted the help of the SIXT employees in times of Corona. On behalf of the children and young people, but also on behalf of all the staff of the Munich orphanage, I would like to say thank you very much."
