SIXT Poland helps children with cancer from Ukraine

Since the first days of the war in Ukraine, SIXT Poland has set itself the goal of providing support. Poland is the country with the largest wave of refugees, so far over 1.5 million refugees have crossed the border and the number is growing day by day.

In line with the corporate social responsibility strategy of SIXT SE and the Regine Sixt Kinderhilfe Stiftung DRYING LITTLE TEARS, the support is aimed at children particularly affected by the war. SIXT Poland provides transport for evacuated children with cancer and their families to medical facilities in Poland. Poland has also launched the SIXT Employee Volunteer Project and over 20 volunteers drive children in the company's cars.

Polish employees also take their own initiatives to support and organise the collection of medical supplies and necessary products in cooperation with Daria, one of their Ukrainian employees. In addition, SIXT employees help with short- and long-term accommodation for refugees.

SIXT Poland has increased the mileage limit in SixtDriveSmart (Sixt Plus) by an additional 1,000 km for those customers who wish to provide assistance themselves.
