On August 3, 2024, the DRYING LITTLE TEARS team at SIXT USA hosted a Back to School event with the Children's Home Society of South Florida, which supports over 500 children in foster care. In July, SIXT employees at the Fort Lauderdale headquarters were able to donate school supplies. Nearly 200 backpacks and other necessary items such as notebooks, pens, markers and folders were collected to help the children get off to a good start in the new school year. At the event, a team of volunteers packed the backpacks with the required materials per grade level and distributed them to the foster children. Overall, it was a great event where over 300 children went home with new materials and excited for the new school year.
