Support of the Perinatal Center at RoMed Klinikum Rosenheim

A children's aid project in a hospital suggested by SIXT employee Carina:

We are very pleased to support an important children's aid project at the RoMed Clinic in Rosenheim. The hospital's perinatal center cares for sick newborns and premature babies in southern Germany and offers them the medical care they urgently need.

Thanks to the initiative of our employee Carina, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation is providing funding for monitors for 24/7 monitoring in a mother-child room. These monitors are crucial for continuously monitoring the vital functions of newborns and ensuring they receive the best possible medical care.

Dr. Med. Uhlig, chief physician at RoMed Klinikum Rosenheim: “In our Level 1 perinatal center in Rosenheim, professional care for our vulnerable newborns and premature babies is essential for us. This includes high medical and nursing quality as well as an appropriate environment for the babies and their families, even if our little patients have to be constantly monitored. We promote the bond between mother and child as early as possible. Thanks to the great financial support from the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation, we were able to purchase two monitors to keep a constant eye on our patients' vital parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation. A big thank you to the foundation for the excellent cooperation and support.”
