Shelter from wind and weather. In the summer of 2014, the renovation of the Compassionate Orphanage Home in Lagos began with the financial support of ,,Tears Drying". When the Sixt Nigeria team and Germany representative Sebastian Szautner arrived at the Compassionate Orphanage Home about a year later, all the children had dressed up. They prayed and asked for a blessing for their new home, giving thanks that they had a roof over their heads again and no longer had to be afraid of wind and weather.
"The greatest gain in life," the Lagos-based Daily Sun quoted writer Peter Reagan as saying, "is what you lose while doing something for others - especially the less privileged." And "in line with this," the Daily Sun continued, "the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation is supporting the Compassionate Orphanage Home in Greenland Estate, Idowu, Egbeda, Lagos. With the help of 'Tears Drying', the girls' dormitory of the home was fitted with a new roof because the old one had been defective for years."
