Stichting Jade Uitwaaimomenten was founded by 17-year-old Jade, who is terminally ill with cancer and whose last wish is to help other children with cancer. The foundation offers affected families with children suffering from cancer a break during short stays in a vacation home, where they can spend time away from treatment and create memories together.
At the beginning of 2025, Jade's dream of having her own vacation home came true and "Villa Jade" was opened. With the support of the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS, important purchases and play equipment could be bought for the new country house. These include a double swing, a wobble frame and a special wheelchair for the beach.
In this way, families with a child suffering from cancer, who often have little peace and quiet and are exposed to great uncertainty, can at least briefly escape their hard everyday lives.
