Just in time for the upcoming fall and winter months, our support helped to purchase and install a rooftop solar power system with an inverter and electricity storage unit for the daycare center. While solar energy is now being generated on the roof of the large multipurpose hall, a wide range of therapy, gymnastics, and sports activities for children take place inside.
The day center run by Projekt BlindenVision e.V. currently cares for around 40 children with severe, often multiple disabilities. From autism and learning difficulties to impaired vision or total blindness, all children come together here and find a place to play and run around together.
