Acreditar (Portuguese for faith) was founded in 1994 and is an association of parents and friends of children with cancer. The aim of the facility is to improve the quality of life of children, young people and their families with cancer.
Since 2003, more than 430 families of children with cancer have found a second home during their oncological treatment at Casa Acreditar in Lisbon. Due to increasing demand, the family house was expanded and the capacity increased from 12 to 32 rooms.
As part of this expansion, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation, together with SIXT Portugal Franchisee, supported the construction and equipment of the new dining room. The construction of the furniture and the furnishings with kitchen utensils were carried out by our energetic colleagues from Portugal taken at a DRYING LITTLE TEARS DAY.
