Integrative, inclusive leisure activities for children and young people with and without disabilities are on the program at TABALiNGO e.V. Almost half of all participants in the activities offered are dependent on funding. The association also enables children from socially difficult backgrounds to participate and thus opens up inclusion for children with disabilities.
The expansion of the existing exercise hall began even before the Corona Pandemic. People were looking forward to the many new opportunities, but it was not the pandemic that caused a delay, but also the flood disaster in addition to higher raw material prices for the continuation of construction. The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation was able to provide financial support and so it was possible to continue the expansion despite the doubling of the costs.
The new boulder room has also been expanded for ninja wars and is very popular with children. Due to Corona, the inflow has risen sharply. The newly gained exercise space offers many other activities and the offers can be protected from the weather and therefore carried out regardless of the weather. Especially for smaller groups, which is an enormous advantage for children with disabilities and children from socially disadvantaged families, since it can offer the reliability and security that these children in particular often need.
"Since the need for inclusive offers according to our motto "Culture and sport without pressure to perform" is increasing, it's great that we were able to further expand our offers. Thank you for your generous support!”, Ursula Espeter, Managing Director TABALiNGO e.V.
