The two operated hospitals Mount Scopus and Ein Kerem, of the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, ensure that every child receives the best possible medical care. With 30 beds, an intensive care unit and a fully equipped emergency room, Mount Scopus is the largest children's hospital in Jerusalem. In the winter months, the occupancy rate rises substantially. With the support of the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation and 'Ein Herz für Kinder', the necessary construction work has been completed so the hospital has enough space for all children. In a second step, important medical equipment such as monitors, newborn scales and patient beds were financed.
