Renovation and equipment for the playroom of a children's ward

Every year, the Charité in Berlin treats over 12,000 children as inpatients and around 120,000 children as outpatients. Many children spend several days or up to several months on the wards. The playrooms of the wards are an important part of the infrastructure and meeting place for children and parents. A child-friendly floor covering could be integrated by financing the renovation of the playroom on the interdisciplinary children's ward. Additionally, the playroom has been outfitted with playmats, a playhouse and a selection of toys. Children should be able to forget for a moment that they are in a hospital.
