In 2016, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation supported the Malteser relief service in building a school care center for Roma and Sinti children in Tarnabod. This facility, whose primary goal is the integration of Roma children in Hungary, looks after around 150 children of different ages. The main focus is on supplementary lessons and teaching rules of social behavior.
In order to expand the offering, the foundation has taken over the purchase of computers and equipment for the library. In addition, the children now have the opportunity to test the new football equipment extensively on the newly paved forecourt and they can learn a lot about growing and using vegetables in the newly created beds.
