The MANNA Maria daycare center in Berlin, a facility run by Malteser Hilfe e.V., opened its doors in July 2022 in a renovated old villa. However, the outdoor facilities lacked age-appropriate play equipment for the youngest children.
In Zusammenarbeit mit der Regine Sixt Kinderhilfe Stiftung wurde dieses Problem angegangen. Im Herbst 2021 startete das Projekt, um den Gartenbereich für Kinder im Alter von 1,5 bis 2,5 Jahren zu gestalten. Innerhalb eines Jahres wurden neue Spielgeräte ausgewählt, bestellt und installiert.
Today the garden area offers the little ones a safe and stimulating place to play and explore. The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation TRÄNCHEN DRYING continues to work to ensure that all children have access to similar areas that promote their development and make their play easier.
