Construction of a school in Mkenda

Education for everyone. Mkenda is a small village in the south of Tanzania where many people who fled Mozambique during the civil war, Muslims as well as Christians, live. Thanks to some merciful nuns, there already exists a well-attended kindergarten. In order to enable these children to continue their education after kindergarten, the Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP envisioned the building of a preschool, which can now be realized thanks to the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation. This preschool now consist of three classrooms, sanitary facilities as well as a kitchen to host about 120 children.
