The SIXT team from the North region transformed their DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day into a special experience for families at the Ronald McDonald House with Oasis Hamburg-Altona. The employees organized a creative cooking and crafting afternoon that gave the affected families a welcome break from hospital routine.

In the Oasis, colorful tigers and snakes were created through joint crafting, transforming the room into a vibrant jungle world. Afterwards, everyone prepared a delicious 3-course menu together. These activities offered the families of seriously ill children not only distraction, but also valuable moments of normality and joy during a difficult phase of life.

"I wouldn't have thought that a single afternoon could make such a difference, within us and hopefully also in the families. Crafting and cooking together sounds simple at first, but when you see who you're doing it for, everything takes on a completely different meaning. I'll carry this with me for a long time," reflects Stefanie Gill, Senior Executive Office Management North Region.
