SIXT employees engaged as part of a DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day for the Johanniter children's home "Zwergenland" in Geretsried and erected a privacy fence for the outdoor area of the facility. The project was initiated by Tanja Neumair, Executive Assistant Corporate Sales & International Fleet Purchase.
The daycare, which opened in 2011, provides loving care for 24 nursery children and 50 kindergarten children. Thanks to the newly installed privacy fence, the children can now play undisturbed and protected in the outdoor area without being observed by passersby. This creates a familiar atmosphere where the little ones can develop freely.
"At SIXT, we actually know no boundaries – except when we build a fence ourselves," explains Petra Perner, Vice President International Fleet Purchase. "At the Johanniter children's home 'Zwergenland' in Geretsried, our team rolled up their sleeves together to give the children a protected outdoor area. What remains: proof that with a good team, you can get not only cars, but also fences to the right place."
