This year, our SIXT employees once again supported the summer festival organised by Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V., an association that helps families affected by cancer. The festival brought together affected families and employees of the Clinic for Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. The SIXT team helped serve cake, worked on the food truck, supported at the goal wall and other game stands, and made sure that everyone had a great day. 

“Seeing how much joy and strength the children and their families experienced on this special day moved me deeply,” reported Christiane Enderlein, Senior Executive Office Management Operations Germany C&B, who has been coordinating corporate volunteering for SIXT employees for several years.  

Die Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V. works closely with the Frankfurt Children's Cancer Clinic to improve the living conditions of families during difficult times, support medical and therapeutic care, and advance research at the clinic. Among other things, the association maintains a family centre close to the clinic, which serves as a place of residence and information, a meeting place with other affected persons outside the clinic, and a place of relaxation with numerous counselling, care and activity offerings.
