We are delighted that numerous SIXT franchise countries have once again participated in this year’s Initiative Marathon. Employees in all SIXT countries actively support the foundation by volunteering at local social institutions, thereby helping children in need. We are happy to highlight the commitment of some of our franchise countries, which have initiated various wonderful CSR activities for children around the world in celebration of International Children's Day:   

Together with the Ezgu Amal Foundation SIXT Uzbekistan donated gifts for children in difficult life situations.   

SIXT Baltics and SIXT Finland united to help children in Ukraine’s schools prepare for the upcoming school year by providing school backpacks and stationery.

SIXT Czech Republic donated a brand new ambulance to the Institute for Mother and Child Care in Prague.  

SIXT Paraguay supported the social institution Teleton Paraguay by organizing a birthday party and bringing gifts for the children.  

SIXT Hungary joined forces with the "Adopt a Kindergarten" foundation, which supports kindergartens in disadvantaged regions where there is often a lack of basic supplies.  

In collaboration with "Nevronas" and "AMKE Together for Autism", SIXT Greece supported the educational and cultural festival "Schooling for All', welcoming more than 3,000 elementary school children.  

SIXT Turkey has been supporting thousands of children affected by a severe earthquake through daily transportation to surf classes. 

SIXT Slovenia supported the Palčica Shelter House, a place where children can find refuge when they cannot live with their families.  

SIXT Lithuania took 30 children from Malteser daycare centers to the "Royal Horse Resort".   

The employees of SIXT Mexico set up and inaugurated a children's library.  

SIXT Trinidad & Tobago invited children from two children's homes to the entertainment restaurant "Chuck E. Cheese".  

SIXT St. Lucia organized a wellness retreat for "The Holy Family Children's Home".  

SIXT Croatia hosted an unforgettable day out for 20 children from the Children’s Home Zagreb visiting the HaHa Muzej Smijeha (Museum of Laughter).
