After a short summer break, our corporate volunteering series resumed at the Wartaweil school camp at the end of September. In a small group, three of our SIXT colleagues from Yield Management lent a hand and made an important contribution to the construction of the outdoor classroom. 

While the “school benches” had already been installed, this time the agenda included important preparatory work for the gravel path that still needed to be laid. First, the weeds had to be removed so that the path could be compacted and covered with gravel in the next step. A sun sail will eventually be stretched over it. After several hours of weeding, both our colleagues and the the gardener who provided on-site support were satisfied with the result. 

Since April 2025, SIXT employees have been working in small teams as part of the SIXT Corporate Volunteering Program, supporting the construction of the new outdoor classroom. Only a few steps remain before completion, which is expected in October.
