What is Get Active?

GET ACTIVE FOR CHARITY is SIXT's annual global employee sports challenge: 22 - 29 June - one week where the entire SIXT community comes together to move and give back.

Every kilometer run or cycled generates a direct donation to the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS, supporting children and young people in need around the world.

Donation Logic

For every kilometer logged in the GET ACTIVE Platform during the challenge period, Sixt SE donates to the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS

  • Running: €5 / kilometer
  • Cycling: €2 / kilometer

The total donation is calculated at the end of the challenge week and transferred to the foundation.

 

How to participate

  1. Sign in to the GET ACTIVE Platform using your SIXT employee account (SSO sign-in). Due to security standards, the platform is only accessible via SIXT devices.
  2. Pick up your T-shirt at your local SIXT location. Watch out for your local communication channels for information regarding pick up.
  3. Join the events at your location during the challenge week.
  4. Run and / or ride from 22-29 June and log your activities in the GET ACTIVE Platform.
  5. Watch the donation total rise in real time, and get extra motivation for yourself and your colleagues through the GET ACTIVE Newsfeed.
  6. Post on your social media and tag @drying_little_tears 
#GetActive
