School Equipment for Disadvantaged Children in Myanmar

448 children from the poorest neighborhoods of Yangon receive the chance for better education and future through school support packages. The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS finances, together with the SANNI Foundation and its local partner organization Medical Action Myanmar (MAM), important educational aid for socially disadvantaged children from slum areas.

The heart of the program consists of individually assembled school packages with all necessary learning materials such as notebooks, pens, school bags, and age-appropriate writing supplies. Additionally, families receive food packages and hygiene articles, while school fees are directly covered. This comprehensive support eliminates financial barriers and enables children to attend school continuously.

Particularly significant: 11 children were able to attend preschool for the first time and 14 others were newly enrolled in kindergarten. The SANNI Foundation works long-term on projects in Myanmar and South India with a focus on education, poverty reduction, and health promotion. Through sustainable support, children receive not only access to education but also the foundation for a successful life path.
