The educational project 'ZusammenWachsen' of the Maltese family center Manna in Berlin-Neukölln is an educational garden experience to get children interested in nature and creating educational spaces.
Many children growing up in the city of Berlin develop only rarely a relation to nature. This, however, is necessary to develop an awareness of the responsible use of resources.
After financing the construction of a playground in 2013, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid wanted to help again and funded the repair and the interior of a gazebo. Also this time, the SIXT staff personally helped by raising and edging beds and building a Kräuterrad.
