The Zauberwald shelter is home to children who no longer have a safe environment at home. In addition to a structured daily routine, the children receive psychological care and support at the shelter. It is important that they can continue to maintain contact with their families in a protected area. The social workers actively support a return to the family of origin and are happy when this is possible.
Therefore, there are fixed times when telephone contact is possible. Visits are also allowed, for which there is a garden, among other things. Since the garden furniture has deteriorated over the years, the donation from the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation helped to buy new furniture.
