In the historic centre of the small town of Potenza Basilicata is the “Centro Sociale Pizzilli” for all children of the community who come from a difficult economic situation, as well as for the refugee children who have been accepted in the project “City of Peace for Children”.
These children need distance learning support as their families seldom give them help with IT difficulties. With the financial support of the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS, a media room was set up in which all children have access to the Internet. Here they are also helped in understanding and using the Internet, as well as using the computers for school and personal development.
