Child-friendly seating and a mobile care bed were funded for the MOMO Children's Palliative Care Center in order to improve the care and lives of the children. The mobile care bed enables the children to rest in the so-called time space and still be "in the action".
Thanks to the different new furniture such as bean bags, soft floor building blocks and seating cubes, the children can adopt individual sitting positions, which provides variability in group work. At the same time, the children can express their creativity by building structures and obstacle courses. With the new Wellenreiter therapy chair, the children can sit comfortably to suit their needs thanks to a continuous and quick adjustment of the seat height and the angle of the backrest. The new electrically adjustable chair is also comfortable and easy to adjust, so that children can stay in it for longer periods of time and fall asleep.
A special new acquisition is the sound massage rocking chair, which combines a musical instrument and relaxation. The sound experience is not only audible, but can be perceived with many senses. The vibrations caused by the sound and the gentle additional rocking motion promote well-being, body awareness and even deep relaxation. Therapy can be carried out in both a lying and sitting position. This allows children to have very individual and varied experiences and to meet a wide range of needs.
