The Regine Sixt Children´s Aid Foundation supported the construction of a computer system at the Hashmonaim School in the Neve Golan residential area in Jaffa in cooperation with the Tel Aviv Yaffo Foundation. The school is attended by children of different ethnic and religious backgrounds. The majority of children come from poor conditions and hardly have any school qualifications. The new wireless computer system with laptops for integration into daily school lessons gives the over 300 pupils a better introduction to modern technology. The goal is to develop an educational program with different programs for languages and scientific topics and to eliminate learning difficulties so that the school achievements of the children improve.
