Funny clowns, fascinating artists and animals performing tricks: The winter circus of the famous Cirque Bouglione in Paris is a special spectacle for young and old.
Organised by the Ligue Universelle du Bien Publique, "Séchez Les Petites Larmes", the French initiative of the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation, together with Telethon, the Hôpital Debré and the Hôpital Necker invited 350 children from Parisian children's hospitals to the circus on 18 February. Little patients from the Hôpital Debré and the Hôpital Necker were among them.
Cirque Bouglione has been a special Parisian institution since the mid-19th century. With regularly changing programmes, the show never fails to captivate its visitors. It is a special place and we are very happy to have given so many children the opportunity to experience these magical moments - carefree and far away from their otherwise often difficult everyday lives.
