Santa Claus and his Christmas angel visited children in hospital wards and institutions in seven countries. Of course he had a lot of gifts with him! For the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS, the traditional Christmas visits are an opportunity to give children a good time around the world. Many of the children cannot celebrate with their families. Thanks to numerous generous sponsors and the great willingness to donate from companies, but also from private individuals, the festive time could be brightened up for the children. The popular Christmas visits are a welcome change on the wards and in the facilities.

In Munich, children were treated in the Großhadern Hospital, Schwabing Children's Hospital, the Heart Center, Harlaching Hospital, Dr. Hauner Children's Hospital and our long-standing partner institutions of the Foundation visited the Ronald McDonald Houses in Großadern and at the heart center. In addition, we received wishes for Santa Claus from children from Haus Atemzeit eV., the Munich orphanage, Lebensmut e.V., the Dominik-Brunner-Haus and the Zauberwald refuge. SIXT employees were happy to take on the role of the Christmas elves and were happy to fulfill the wishes. So we were able to bring the many beautifully wrapped gifts for the children.

SIXT employees were also busy in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin, Weimar, Augsburg, Erlangen and Stuttgart and were able to bring joy to many children. SIXT employees and Santa Claus also visited numerous hospitals and institutions worldwide in Austria, Switzerland, UK, USA, Spain and Italy. In this way, more than 2,000 children worldwide could be given great joy, for many it was a successful surprise.
