At the end of November, our SIXT colleagues from Strategic Fleet Planning used their Corporate Volunteering Day to support the "Froschkern" residential group at Diakonie München und Oberbayern gGmbH. The main task was to remove the peeling paint from a wall in the exercise room and then to prime and plaster the wall again. Due to moisture and a lack of primer, the paint had been peeling off in this area for some time. While the primer was drying, the time was used to tidy up and clean the facility's garden.
The "Froschkern" intensive educational and therapeutic residential group is home to seven children and young people who require intensive care due to disruptions in their social and family environment. The facility supports them in overcoming crises, discovering and strengthening their own resources and developing perspectives.
