At the request of the Chief Rabbi of Munich, Shmuel Aharon Brodman, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation supported the evacuation of Jewish orphans from Ukraine. For this purpose, a food transport was organised, which was filled with food donated by the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation.
The van went to Moldova to supply children from the Jewish orphanage in Odessa, who had to be evacuated under the most difficult circumstances. The food has now reached the evacuated children at the destination in Moldova.
