The Orange Team of Channel Development got to work in April and renovated the flowerbeds and raised beds of the Johanniter Kindergarten in Krailling.
Eight employees from Pullach started early and arrived at the kindergarten with 280 liters of organic soil and various plants and herbs. There, they were greeted by the management and numerous children. Together, they cleared the weeds from the beds, dug them up properly, and refilled the raised beds.
The children had a lot of fun with the activity and after the lunch break they continued with the careful planting of raspberries and currants, as well as strawberries, lemon balm, peppermint, thyme, rosemary, lovage and oregano.
By setting up and planting the beds, the kindergarten primarily aims to raise awareness among the children about healthy eating. They also enjoy the process all year round. Many thanks to Team Orange for their tremendous efforts!
