In August, our SIXT colleagues once again demonstrated their commitment to social engagement. As part of our corporate volunteering program, they gave the homework room at the Johanniter daycare center in Allershausen a fresh coat of paint. Now the children can learn and play in a brighter, more welcoming space. In addition to work clothes and plenty of motivation, the SIXT team also brought along all the painting supplies as a donation in kind.  

After the first work session in the morning, the volunteers enjoyed a pasta meal together, as requested by the children, and took advantage of the spacious outdoor facilities at the daycare center for a relaxing break before making final repairs in the afternoon. The day ended with a small thank-you celebration and the presentation of certificates and lovingly prepared gifts. 

“We are thrilled by the energetic support from the SIXT team,” said facility manager Martina Hahn. “The new paint job creates a more pleasant atmosphere for our children. The campaign shows them how valuable community spirit and commitment are.”
