SIXT France organized an extraordinary motorsport event for children with physical disabilities together with the Order of Malta and the Order of Saint John, which introduced young participants to the fascination of racing while promoting inclusive exchange between people with and without disabilities. The initiative enabled children to gain new experiences outside their familiar home environment and discover their passion for cars and motorsport.
The event created a platform for encounters where barriers were broken down and community spirit was strengthened. The children experienced the world of motorsport firsthand and could interact with peers and adults. Through donations collected during the event, disability-appropriate equipment for the children in care could be financed, sustainably improving their participation in social life.
"Today, we didn't just make cars run — we made children's smiles run," summarizes Franck Ingrassia, Branch Manager Saint-Tropez, the emotional moments of the day. The cooperation between SIXT France and the two traditional charitable organizations shows how creative approaches can give young people with disabilities unforgettable experiences while simultaneously providing practical support.
