For a good cause, the Data Science team applied their analytical and problem-solving skills to work in the garden and on the outdoor area of the Wartaweil inclusion school. The school is located with a spacious park on Lake Ammersee and due to the excessive rainfall in recent months, the garden required special attention. The team took on several tasks in June, including removing weeds from flower beds, the in-house herb garden and the paths around the buildings, and also trimmed hedges and trees. The team also restored wheelchair access to Lake Ammersee and renewed the floor under the Rohllstuhl swing. The new access to the lake was immediately and successfully tested by the children present.
“At the end of the day everyone was exhausted but satisfied that their efforts were for a good cause. As a reward for their hard work, the team had a refreshing swim in the lake. After all the effort, they enjoyed the cool water.” – Iulia Pasov, SIXT Data Science
