As part of the SIXT CSR program, four employees from the Relationship Marketing Airline department supported the "Children's Kitchen" at the Johanniter-Kinderhaus Dietersheim. Since 2013, the Johanniter-Kinderhaus has been supporting 49 children through important developmental years with heart, commitment and educational diversity.
The SIXT team worked hand in hand with the children to make various products that will later be sold as part of the "Children's Kitchen" project. This resulted in colorful soaps made from lavender and lemons, herbal salts and oils as well as baking mixes, which were carefully weighed and packaged. Michael-Marius Schmidtke and his team were impressed by the children's enthusiasm for the project: "The best way to shape our future is to help and encourage the children to do so."
The fundraising team from the Johanniter-Regionalverband Oberbayern supported the campaign on site. Sibylle Merx, Head of Fundraising, Communication and Marketing, emphasizes: "Volunteering creates encounters, joy and impact - not only for the children, but also for the helpers. It shows how much good is done when companies like SIXT are actively involved in society".
Not only the exchange and the joint activity, but also the results made the children's eyes light up.
