In the fight against child poverty in Germany, “Die Arche” is particularly committed to children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The children's project “Die Arche” was founded in Berlin-Hellersdorf in 1995. There are now 32 locations nationwide, reaching over 6,000 children and young people. “Die Arche Rostock” has been accompanying and supporting up to 30-40 children aged 6 - 13 since May 2022, in the form of: free hot meals, homework help and numerous leisure activities.
On May 31st, a colorful courtyard festival took place there. Our SIXT team from Rostock provided active support! After a tour of the facility, various stations were set up, from a bouncy castle to a running course, which offered the children a day full of fun and joy. On their social day, DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day, the employees helped with the setup and organized and supervised the stations, such as a craft stand, a well-attended wheel of fortune, children's face painting, the grill stand and the bouncy castle.
The day was a complete success for young and old alike and we are delighted with the great commitment of our colleagues from Rostock. Thank you very much for your efforts!
