As part of the DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day, Sixt employees organised a cooking evening at Ronald McDonald House Leipzig — for families of seriously ill children.
The DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day is the initiative of the Regine Sixt Kinderhilfe Stiftung, through which Sixt employees around the world get active and make a real difference on the ground. In Leipzig, that meant cooking together, setting the tables and bringing a moment of genuine lightness to people who need strength the most right now.
Ronald McDonald House Leipzig offers families whose children are being treated in hospital a temporary home — close to their children, far from their everyday lives. That is exactly where our colleagues stepped in and showed that a shared evening in the kitchen can work wonders.
„The gratitude of the families and these special moments touched us all deeply. Seeing how Ronald McDonald House gives these families a temporary home while their children are fighting in hospital — that really gets to you." — Edwin Fritzsche, Senior Branch Manager
