In collaboration with partner organization Tempo per l'Infanzia Cooperativa Sociale, we have been driving the renovation work to make the "Allies for Childhood" premises in Milan, Italy safer and more child-friendly. The space provides a venue for workshops, literacy classes and educational games specifically tailored to the needs of 15 children aged 3 to 6 who have been rejected by the public and private school system.
Thanks to the support of the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation, significant improvements have been made. The hall and terrace were redesigned, new children's furniture was purchased, safe bathroom fittings were installed and the terrace floor and stairway were renewed. In addition, edges and surfaces were padded to minimize the risk of injury.
We are delighted to be able to contribute to making this space a safe and welcoming place for the children.
