In 2013, the PalliativTeam Südhessen received a MINI from the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation for the expansion of comprehensive care for terminally ill children in the region of South Hesse in Germany. Since then, the members of the palliative team have been in a better position to visit the children at home and ensure that they can stay in an environment familiar to them.
