The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation “Drying Little Tears” and the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich wanted to give traumatised and socially disadvantaged children some happy Easter time so they organised a joint Easter egg painting. Children were invited from the Schutzstelle für Kinder Zauberwald shelter and the Dominik-Brunner-Haus der Johanniter child care agency.
For one afternoon they could enjoy the Easter time carefree in the beautiful gallery of the hotel. Also present were Regine Sixt, founder of the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation “Drying Little Tears”, and Innegrit Volkhardt, Managing Partner of the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. Together with the 40 children they painted Easter eggs in bright colours and made happy decorations for the holidays. And there was also a special surprise guest for the little ones: an Easter bunny, who had an Easter basket with gifts such as chocolate eggs, a toy bunny and a “Drying Little Tears” T-shirt in a bag for each child.
